a weekend gone by -- my time away
i went camping last weekend, to index washington. it was scenic and refreshing; taking the time to pause and enjoy the world outside of the city really energized my soul. i had a thought while lying by the river one night, ‘how long has this river been making this noise?’ it was a question that made me feel tiny and quiet. this river made and unceasing roar for many many years prior...

ew. I just spent the last hour and a half paying bills, paying fees, crunching numbers, collecting money and i hate it. my head is a jumble and its not even noon. LUCKILY this means i can now leave those numbers behind and start a great day. today i plan to get my hair cut, soak up some sun, head to a wedding, celebrate, then birthday party it up to close the night. looking forward to a good day...
everywhere i go it smells like a pet store, I’m worried terrorist have struck, but this time in the form of small mammals and fish.
